Humbling, incredulous, heart-warming and amazing. The ICMS Australasia team and CEO Emma Bowyer reflected following the Meetings & Events Australia Awards ceremony in the Hunter Valley, and where the emotions landed was an overwhelming sense of pride.

ICMS Australasia won seven national awards in total and could not be happier for the team and their clients.

Seven national honours

  • Exhibition of the Year — 26th World Mining Congress
  • Government Event of the Year — 26th World Mining Congress (CSIRO)
  • Regional Event of the Year — Meeting of the Mines 2023
  • Sales, Marketing or Business Person of the Year — ICMSA Executive Director Suellen Holland
  • MEA Future Leader — Tiffany Lo

ICMSA also received two Platinum Awards, presented to entries that score the highest in their respective category. These were awarded to MEA Future Leader and Meeting of the Mines.

ICMSA CEO Emma Bowyer said the journey to that sort of success is never a straight line.

“I’d like to acknowledge the entire team.”

“We are four offices but one company and our culture is high-performing, outcome-focused and collaborative.”

“My thanks to our industry stakeholders — from bureaux, convention centres, technology partners, exhibition contractors, hotels and more. It’s a pure joy to work every day with passionate professionals. Cheers to success!”
