ICMS Australasia’s decision to open a Christchurch office is paying dividends one year later, with strong business already on the books and a growing pipeline of future conference management events.

In late August, the local team delivered its first international conference at Te Pae Convention Centre in Christchurch.

The 500-person Don’t Forget The Bubbles Conference for paediatricians was hailed a resounding success by organisers, and first-time visitors to Christchurch praised the ease of getting around the city and the quality of the centrally located convention centre.

ICMSA has since been contracted to deliver the next Don’t Forget The Bubbles Conference in 2026 in Glasgow.

In New Zealand, ICMSA has been confirmed to provide Professional Conference Management services to the 62nd Annual Meeting of the International Association of Forensic Toxicologists 2025 and the Australasia Weeds Conference 2026. Three more conference bids are underway for Christchurch, which could attract more than 3,000 attendees.
